WELCOME INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE WORKING WOMEN’S GOLF LEAGUE

Spring is FINALLY here!  So it’s time to get the Working Women’s Golf League started for another year:

The league plays 18 holes on selected weekends (the schedule is posted on the website). Courses played include: Meadow Hills, Aurora Hills, Springhill, Fitzsimons, Saddle Rock, and Murphy Creek.

The annual membership fee is $110. Your membership includes a USGA handicap (GHIN number), CWGA membership, tournament prize money, and an organizational breakfast meeting. There will also be an end of season banquet.

WOMEN CAN JOIN ANYTIME DURING THE SEASON.

The league is designed for women golfers at all levels. Once you join, you are required to have an established handicap to be eligible for tournament prize money. It takes five 18 hole rounds of play to establish a handicap. (Refer to the rules of play located on the website.)

An organizational continental breakfast meeting will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2008. The meeting will be held at Aurora Hills Tin Cup room. General league information and by-laws will be discussed. Please plan on attending to get the golf league off to a flawless start.

Still undecided? Come to the breakfast meeting and learn more. Refreshments will be served. Please R.S.V.P. so we can be sure we have enough refreshments. If you register before the meeting, please indicate if you will attend or not on the registration form. Now that you are ready to join, complete the registration form and include a check for your membership fee made payable to Working Women’s Golf League (WWGL).

A "Premier Card" is available at all Aurora golf courses. Spend $500.00 and get $600.00 in green fees. It’s the best buy in golf and there is no expiration date.
