WOMEN CAN JOIN ANY TIME DURING THE SEASON
It’s almost time to get the Working Women's Golf League (WWGL) started for the 2009 Season. Please note the format for this meeting will be different than in year’s past. So if you have not attended in awhile, this is the year to attend to find out what's new and improved in 2009.
New Meeting Format:
Note the new format and times below for this meeting. The General Meeting will be geared towards "What is new and exciting for the 2009 season!" along with voting on any proposed by-law changes. If you mail in your registration prior to the meeting or have it completed and ready to be dropped off, you will be able to make a 10:30 or 11:00 a.m. tee time and won’t have to leave the meeting early.Annual dues will be the same as last year $110. The membership fee includes obtaining a USGA handicap (GHIN number), CWGA membership, tournament prize money and the organizational breakfast meeting.
The organizational "Kick Off" meeting will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at the Aurora Hills Golf Course (Tin Cup Restaurant). A continental breakfast will be provided.

8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Registration and Breakfast
9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. General Meeting
10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Registration Re-Opened

New Members:
Please come early for the New Member Orientation to find out general league information, answers to your questions/concerns, and to collect your new member’s packet.The league plays 18 holes on selected weekends at the following Aurora courses: Meadow Hills, Aurora Hills, Springhill, Fitzsimons, Saddle Rock and Murphy Creek.
This league is designed for women golfers at all levels and membership is accepted throughout the season. Once you join, you are required to have an established handicap to be eligible for tournament prize money. It takes five posted, 18-hole rounds of play to establish a handicap. (Refer to the rules of play located on the website)
Undecided? Come to the breakfast meeting and learn more. Please R.S.V.P. so we can be sure we have enough refreshments. If you would like to join and can’t come to the meeting, then complete the registration form (on the web site) and include a check for your membership fee and other applicable fees made payable to Working Women's Golf League (WWGL) and mail to Dorothy Hunter.
Note: a "Premier Card" is available at all Aurora golf courses. Spend $500.00 and get $600.00 in value or $250.00 and get $300.00 in value. It's the best buy in golf and there is no expiration date. Details will be available at the Kick Off meeting or call any board member for details.
