Position: Secretary

Job Summary: Responsible for keeping accurate and permanent records of the Working Women's Golf League (WWGL).

• Attend all Board and general membership meetings throughout the year. There are usually four to five Board meetings and the spring and fall general membership meetings.
• Respond promptly to issues that require Board attention.
• Actively participate in all Board matters.

• Record issues and decisions made at Board and membership meetings.
• Incorporate decisions made between meetings (via phone or email) in the next formal meeting's minutes.
• Incorporate all handouts and exhibits discussed during meetings into the formal minutes.
• Maintain historical documentation for easy reference, which includes maintaining both a hard and soft copy of all minutes.
• Prepare and distribute minutes to all Board members within 10 days of the meeting.
• At year-end, transfer all minutes and correspondence to a CD for historical purposes.

• Ensure WWGL trade name is renewed each year or when needed with the Colorado Secretary of State's Office.
• Update the WWGL Local Rules of Golf booklet as needed and coordinate the printing and distribution of the booklet to the general membership. Ensure the league follows the USGA Rules, WWGL By-Laws, Club Rules and Local Rules.
• If By-Laws are changed, email a copy of the updated By-Laws to Doug McNeil, Manager of the Aurora Golf Division at the following email address: dmcneil@auroragov.org.
• Prepare correspondence relating to league matters as warranted (e.g., requesting and thanking website sponsors, banquet guest invitations, thank you notes for support, door prize donations to the courses and the City of Aurora).

• Assist with league events as needed (e.g., Spring Membership meeting organization, Fall Banquet preparations, Beat the Pro Tournament and Member/Guest Tournament).
• Assist other Board members with their responsibilities upon request.
• Assist the Tournament Chairperson with the match play tournament.
